Join award-winning cultural geography cinema Passengerfilms for an evening of film and discussion exploring human/non-human interactions, the intersection of nature and culture, and the captive animal as spectacle.
Featuring Gabriela Cowperthwaite’s critically-acclaimed documentary Blackfish (2013), on the ethics behind the multi-billion dollar sea park industry, and contextual talks by researchers and theorists from geography, film and animal studies.
